Accreditation Encompass Academy is accredited by Cognia We are proud to announce that Encompass Academy earned full accreditation from Cognia in 2025. Cognia is a globally recognized accrediting body committed to educational excellence and continuous improvement. What does "accreditation" mean? Rigorous external validation: Our programs, policies, and student outcomes were evaluated against Cognia’s international Performance Standards through self-assessment and external review. Quality credentials for students: Diplomas issued by Encompass Academy carry the credibility of Cognia accreditation—trusted for college admissions and credit transfer. Commitment to ongoing excellence: Accreditation is awarded for a six-year cycle, with periodic reviews to ensure continuous growth and improvement. Why does this matter for our community? Assurance for Parents & Students: Demonstrates our high standards in teaching, leadership, and student support. Recognition for Graduates: Enhances transcript credibility and strengthens college admissions profiles. Press Releases Scholastic Gateway Fund Press Release Encompass Academy was awarded a $9,974.86 grant from the Konner Robison Scholastic Gateway Fund to enhance its one-to-one device program. The funds will be used to purchase iPads and protective cases, ensuring equitable access to technology for all students and supporting academic success. Explorer Athletics Welcome to the Explorer Athletics program! At Encompass Academy, participation in sports is more than just competition—it’s an opportunity for students to grow as individuals and teammates. Our athletics program builds on the school’s core values of academic achievement, social-emotional growth, enrichment, and personalized pathways. We are proud to support student-athletes in developing resilience, teamwork, integrity, and a strong work ethic—both on and off the field. Encompass Academy is currently in its probationary period as an independent member of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA), the governing body for high school sports in Nevada. We compete primarily in the Division 1A league and in charter school competitions. Student-Athlete Registration Students who wish to join a sports team at Encompass Academy must register through Aktivate , the official platform used by the state of Nevada to manage athletic participation. Arts & Crafts Club The Arts & Crafts Club at Encompass Academy is a fun and creative space where students can explore a variety of hands-on art projects, learn new crafting skills, and express themselves through creativity. Students may participate in activities such as painting, drawing, seasonal crafts, DIY projects, jewelry making, and more while connecting with other students who enjoy art and creativity.
