Now Hiring: Part-Time Computer Literacy Teacher
Encompass Academy is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Part-Time Computer Literacy Teacher to support our high school students in building essential digital skills. Ideal candidates are relationship-oriented, culturally responsive, and ready to jump in with professionalism and positivity.
Position Details

Schedule: Part-time, up to 20 hours per week; specific days and hours to be determined based on course schedule and candidate availability

Pay: $35/hour

School Day: 8:00 AM–2:30 PM

What You’ll Do
-
Teach computer literacy skills such as basic typing, digital citizenship, online safety, email and web use, and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace/Microsoft Office)

Implement engaging, student-centered lessons aligned to course standards

Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment

Take attendance and ensure student safety and supervision

Build rapport with students and communicate professionally with staff

Support a welcoming, respectful climate for all learners
Qualifications
-
Valid Nevada Teaching License with appropriate endorsement OR eligibility for a CTE/alternative or substitute license appropriate for teaching computer literacy at the high school level

Experience using educational technology and productivity tools

Ability to implement lesson plans and manage a high school classroom

Strong communication, reliability, and student-centered mindset

Encompass Academy is seeking dedicated and compassionate licensed substitute teachers to support our students and staff. Ideal candidates are relationship-oriented, culturally responsive, and ready to jump in with professionalism and positivity. Applicants must hold a valid Nevada Substitute Teaching License.

Schedule: School day is 8:00 AM–2:30 PM. Sub assignments are as needed throughout the school year.

Encompass Academy is seeking dynamic part-time elective teachers to join our team. Candidates must hold either a valid Nevada substitute teaching license or a license in their subject area, and be available to work 6-18 hours per week. This is a great opportunity for passionate educators to bring engaging, hands-on learning to high school students in subjects such as art, health, PE, leadership, and other enrichment areas.
