As a tuition-free school of choice, we operate under a charter agreement that outlines our mission, goals, and accountability measures. Parent & Family Engagement At Encompass Academy, we believe that collaboration with families is essential to student success. Guided by our mission, "Guiding students to bright futures by focusing on academic achievement, personal pathways, enrichment, and social-emotional learning," we are committed to fostering strong partnerships with parents and guardians. Together, we create a supportive community that nurtures academic growth, well-being, and bright futures for all students. Family Engagement Liason Dana Zbella, our Family Engagement Liaison, is here to support families and strengthen connections between home and school. Please contact her with any questions or concerns about family engagement. Parent Teacher Association Our PTA meets on the first Tuesday of every month (excluding holidays and breaks). Family Events Encompass Academy hosts at least one family event every quarter, including events such as Family Dinner, Dia de los Muertos, Coffee with the Counselor, and our Art Shows. JumpStart Dual Credit Program with TMCC Encompass Academy partners with Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) through the JumpStart Dual Credit Program to help students enroll in college courses that also earn them high school credit. This opportunity allows students to get a head start on their degree while still meeting graduation requirements. Courses are available online or in person at TMCC’s campus, providing flexibility to fit students’ needs and schedules.
