JumpStart Dual Credit Program with TMCC Encompass Academy partners with Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) through the JumpStart Dual Credit Program to help students enroll in college courses that also earn them high school credit. This opportunity allows students to get a head start on their degree while still meeting graduation requirements. Courses are available online or in person at TMCC’s campus, providing flexibility to fit students’ needs and schedules. 8th Grade Application To apply to Encompass Academy for the 2024-2025 school year, 8th grade students can click the link below to fill out our PDF application. After completing the application please email it to Laure Turner at laure@encompassacademy.org . 8th grade applications are due by April 11, 2024 at the latest. After email the application to Laure, she will call you to set up an appointment for an intake meeting. Position Summary The Social Studies Teacher will deliver standards-aligned instruction that promotes critical thinking, civic awareness, and historical understanding.
