enCompass Academy is seeking a certified mathematics instructor for the 2022-23 school year.
The Academy is also interested in dual certified instructors. Teachers at enCompass will have completed their teaching certification process and possess a Nevada Teacher's License in English. Candidates with out of state teacher's licensure information will be considered provided they will apply for Nevada licensure. Ideal candidates will be excited about working in a small school setting, and will have the ability to wear many hats while engaging a unique student population. General skills include: syllabus/pacing guide development, lesson planning, classroom management, organization, and ability to work as a team. Bilingual applicants considered a plus. All instructors teach four core classes, and will also instruct a project class that is unique to the program. Instructors will be responsible for the lesson planning for 2-3 different preps and grading student work in a timely fashion. All faculty at enCompass have the ability to help shape the program in innovative ways. We work with up to 125 high school students with class sizes that max at 25. Most classes have 15 students. Extended Day and Part Time Teaching Opportunities for 2022-23 |
enCompass Academy is seeking a certified, highly-qualified, teacher for core courses special education mathematics to teach and support students in an interventionist capacity and/or for the after school program, 2 hours per day. enCompass Academy operates out of the Boys and Girls Club, and provides a holistic teaching atmosphere focused on improving outcomes for all students regardless of their educational past. In addition to teaching core courses, this individual would also participate in the teaching of an elective course, as well as our interdisciplinary project class. Qualified individuals will collaborate with a group of highly motivated instructors in innovative teaching, lesson planning, and curriculum development.
